Ciao settembre!

ENG Welcome back, my friends! September is here, and I'm looking back, confused, wondering where, when and how Summer ended. Where did August go? Where are the sand among the fingers, the salt on the skin, the walks in the pinewood and on the seaside, the explorations of new places and cities and landscapes, the perfum of the sunscreen, the nights camping in a tent? Did all this happen or did I imagine it?

Portogallo. Dall'alto, in senso orario: Covento do Carmo a Lisbona; Castelo dos Mouros a Sintra; le ultime ore del giorno a Sagres, presso Cabo de Sao Vicente (Algarve), in un tramonto spettacolare; un dettaglio all'interno del Palacio Nacional di Sintra; la splendida Praia do Carvalho, a Carvoeiro (Algarve) // Portugal. From up left to right: Covento do Carmo in Lisbon; Castelo dos Mouros in Sintra; the stunning sunset in Sagres, near Cabo de Sao Vicente (Algarve); a detail inside Palacio Nacional of Sintra; the wonderful Praia do Carvalho in Carvoeiro (Algarve)

ENG In the latest years, however, since I'm not a student anymore, I live the end of the Summer in a different mood: a mix of melancholy, a great gratitude and enthusiasm. This year, in particular, my August has been so beautiful and intense, and I can't do anything but remember all the beauty I've been surrounded of, be grateful for every single moment and go straight ahead to the Autumn and Winter richer (I'm not talking about money) than when I left.

Il bracciale PetiteFraise con pesciolino in ottone lavorato a mano, e pietre dure di diaspro acqua terra blu, mi ha accompagnato nelle mie vacanze :) qui si gode la Praia da Figueira, in Algarve (Portogallo) // The PetiteFraise bracelet with fish in brass worked by hand, and blue aqua terra jasper gemstones, traveled with me during my holidays :) here it's enjoying Praia da Figueira, in Algarve (Portugal)

Corsica (Francia).

ENG I've been so lucky to visit, wih the man I love, part of the wonderful Portugal, with its Sintra, a precious jewel; with its wild Algarve and its windy cliffs, its freezing ocean and the wide beaches, eaten by the high tides and burned by breathtaking sunsets; and I've been back in Lisbon, messy but charming, full of beauty and poetic. I'm so in love with this city.

Some of the PetiteFraise's Handmade Jewelry pieces I packed to come with my during my Summer travels :)
ENG And finally, with one of my best friends, we set sail to Corsica, and drove my car to the South, exploring the white sand beaches and crystal clear waters within Porto Vecchio and Bonifacio, and coming back all nights to our tent in the camping.
It's been an unforgettable Summer. And I will always bring it in my heart, full of gratitude.

Buon nuovo inizio a tutti :)
Happy new beginning to you all :)
