Fashion inspirations: Alannah Hill

Qualche mese fa, su uno dei miei blog preferiti (A Beautiful Mess) ho scoperto Alannah Hill, stilista australiana che mi ha rubato il cuore. Alannah nasce in Tasmania, ma all'età di 16 anni si trasferisce da sola a Melbourne, munita di una buona dose di coraggio e intraprendenza. Trova lavoro in un café, ma quasi subito viene notata dalla proprietaria di una boutique in cui lavorerà per 15 anni. Adesso possiede il suo proprio brand e 14 boutiques in Australia e Nuova Zelanda. Le sue collezioni sono sempre molto femminili e colorate, colori che si trovano in abbondanza anche nelle sue collezioni invernali. Purtroppo non sono riuscita a trovare la collezione Primavera/Estate 2011... se qualcuno dovesse trovarla, fatemelo sapere :)

Some months ago, on one of my favourite blog (A Beautiful Mess) I discovered Alannah Hill, Australian fashion designer I fell in love with. Alannah is born in Tasmania, but when she was 16 she lands in Melbourne, fitted with bravery and initiative. At first she works in a café, but soon is noticed by a fashion boutique owner, and in her boutique she works for 15 years. Now Alannah owns her own brand and 14 shops in Australia and New Zealand. Her collections are always very girly, feminine and colorful, colors you can plentifully find in her winter collections. Unfortunately I couldn't find the S/S 2011 collection... if you find it, please let me know :)
